INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISION

Supervision for the clinician you’re becoming

Good supervision isn't about tallying up clinical hours or having someone tell you what to do.

It's having a place to think out loud, ask questions, strengthen your clinical judgment, and grow into the clinician you want to become.

You’ve spent years taking care of others. You deserve someone who can show up for you in the same way.

Graduate school does a great job teaching the foundations of clinical work. You learn theories, interventions, ethics, diagnoses, treatment planning, and documentation. Much of it is presented in a way that feels structured, clear, and sometimes even black and white.

Then you start seeing clients.

Suddenly, things aren't quite so straightforward.

Clients don't always fit neatly into diagnostic boxes. Ethical decisions aren't always obvious. Treatment plans don't unfold exactly as you thought they would. You find yourself balancing clinical judgment, intuition, evidence-based practice, and the realities of being human.

That's where supervision comes in.

Grad school and internships teach the academics and
clinical foundation.

Supervision is where you learn
to apply it in the grey areas.

WHAT WE MIGHT WORK ON

Supervision isn’t
one-size-fits-all

These are some of the conversations
we might find ourselves having

Navigating Difficult Cases

Working through uncertainty, complex diagnoses, challenging personalities, ethical dilemmas and stuck points

01

03

Learning to Work in the Grey Areas

Balancing your knowledge, ethics, evidence, intuition, and the realities of working with people during complicated times.

02

Finding Your Clinical Voice

Developing confidence in your own judgement, style and decision-making instead of relying on someone else’s.

04

Preparing for your Licensure Exams

Building confidence and preparing for the licensure examination and your goals beyond supervision

Supervision isn't just about collecting licensure hours or reviewing cases. It's about developing confidence in your clinical judgment, learning to tolerate uncertainty, and growing into the clinician you want to become.

I’m so glad you’re here!

At the heart of it all: I believe clinical confidence comes from experience, reflection and support—not perfection!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than 12 years of experience working across healthcare and mental health settings, including hospice, palliative care, crisis services, acute care, and emergency medicine.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to supervise clinicians, lead interdisciplinary teams, support professional development, and mentor newer social workers as they navigate the transition from graduate school into clinical practice.

I know firsthand that becoming a clinician is about much more than learning theories and interventions. It's about developing clinical judgment, finding your professional voice, learning to tolerate uncertainty, and building trust in yourself.

My approach to supervision is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I'll challenge you when needed, encourage you to think critically, and help you strengthen both your clinical skills and your confidence as a clinician.

WHY IT’S WORTH IT

The Value of Quality
Supervision

I'll be honest, quality supervision is a significant investment of both time and money.

It's also one of the few opportunities in your career where the focus is entirely on your growth as a clinician. The right supervision can help you strengthen your clinical instincts, navigate uncertainty with greater confidence, and avoid years of unnecessary second-guessing.

The reality is that you'll likely spend thousands of hours sitting with clients throughout your career. Investing in quality supervision now can shape how you approach those conversations for years to come.

Good supervision isn't just about getting your hours signed—it's about developing the clinical judgment, professional identity, and foundation you'll rely on and use throughout your entire career.

I offer a limited number of reduced fee spots for supervisees who identify as Black, Indigenous, people of color, or immigrants.

LET’S TALK ABOUT WHERE YOU’RE AT IN YOUR SUPERVISION JOURNEY

The best clinicians aren't the ones who have all the answers. They're the ones willing to
stay curious, ask questions, and continue learning.

Whether you're working toward licensure, navigating challenging cases, or learning to trust your clinical judgment, supervision can provide a place to think, reflect, and grow.
